Keeping busy in November

We have been so blessed to be part of a homeschool group. They normally do one kid day a month. However, this month they slipped in an extra day, a Pumpkin Party! L was at school so D and E got to participate.
The first activity was decorating cookies. I was so glad to see they could eat the frosting and sprinkles. So,
I let them decorate and then
lick off the frosting. They were in heaven!!
We played hot "pumpkin" and D was the first one in the middle.
Then some pumpkin bowling followed by...
Mini "pumpkin" golf and to end it all
Parachute pumpkins!
Next activity was just for L...a POW WOW at her school!
This is the Turtle Class (L is on the front row on the left).
L was so excited when she walked into the pow wow.
She then sat with her clas and learned about the Indians. At the end her class did the cutest turkey song!
Then, just today, we went to a First Thanksgiving Feast. This was with our Homeschool Group and the idea was to recreate the first thanksgiving with foods they would have used, games they would have played and clothes they would have worn.
D chose to be an Indian Chief.
E poses with her Indain headdress.
L wore her Indian attire from her pow wow. All the kids got to make a "toss and catch" game that the pilgrims and/or Indians would likely have played.
