Father's Day!

Due to the nature of the gift, Father's Day came a day early in our home.
Good thing about a big gift...each child gets his/her own side to decorate!
Since the gift was a grill, we needed Saturday to put the gril together so we could grill some yummy steaks on Sunday.
THE GRILL MASTER!

Amazing Grace Race

For the second year in a row, I got to do the Amazing Grace Race. This race is a blast. My friend and I were a two-woman team and we started the race with a one mile run and then went on to do 10 different stations including cargo ropes, archery, zip line, moving M&M's with a straw, obstacle course on a big blow up and several more.
Being first place winners in our category, we won a chicken!
Yes, I am kissing my chicken as requested by my husband, the photographer who threatened to quit his "job" if I didn't kiss the chicken.
Of course, the kids had to get in on the chicken action!

Craft Day

Every Thursday is craft day this summer!
Our first craft was tissue paper bowls.
Good, messy fun
Ooey, gooey!
Our second craft was a Home Depot project in Austin with grandpa. Then our third craft was decorating sun visors which was great because the kids could actually use their craft!

Dance Camp

Last week L participated in dance camp. For five days she did jazz, ballet and tap along with a craft. She really enjoyed herself.
This was her first dance experience and overall, she had a good time.
The last day the students performed for the parents.
L did not participate in the performance.
This is her group getting ready to do tap.

First trip to Austin this summer

Our first trip to Austin this summer had a special surprise. Some of our cousins showed up and we had a blast with them.
E floats in the pool with her cousin taking great care of her.
D shares a laugh with his grandpa!
We made it to the neighborhood park.
The kids made sure they played on everything!
This picture was grandma's idea..too cute!
Then they started dancing...
and posing...
and posing some more!
Grandpa spent time with each child working on a project. Here he's hammering with L.
E hammers with all her might.
We spent lots of time playing in the basement.
And of course the hot tub...
E jumps.

D shows off.
L gets some height on her jump.
