We had a full and eventful Easter weekend!! We have done our best to prepare all week for the greatest celebration we know of as Christ followers. So, each day we read in the Bible about Jesus's last week on earth. Then when the weekend hit, we did some more secular, traditional, fun activities.

We attended OPERATION EGG DROP this year for the first time. The boys got to participate in a karate demonstration at the church where they train so aferwards we stayed to enjoy their activities which included a HELICOPTER dropping CANDY on an EGG-FILLED field. Very impressive.

It was fun being part of such a big egg hunt.

Showing off their loot!

The kids got to ride ponies....

Such a fun time!!

After we got home and had "quiet room time" to recover from the festivities, we tried working in the yard. We are always playing in the yard so it's really hard to do things such a weed and feed, water, etc. We did our best and the kids joined right in!

It was in the mid-seventies and mainly cloudy, our kids were fully dressed and completely soaked!!

Easter Day!!!

We had to sneak in a family picture before we ran off to church, trying to beat the crowd. Unfortunately, in our hurry, we didn't realize that we look more like the leaning tower of Pisa than a family ready to celebrate Christ's Resurrection!!
