Zoo Run

I got to do my second 10k run on Satuday.
You know these runs are all about the t-shirt. My kids love this one. In fact, L asked if I'll share it with her when she gets big! P got to come with me and photograph the event. Unfortunately he had to get up early and sacrifice his sleep. He's obviously my biggest fan!
Here I am waiting to run...
Sprint to the finish. Thankfully I had paced myself in order to actually sprint to the finish. My first 10K, I just barely made it over the line so my goal was to finish strong this time!
DONE!! Yahoo!! It felt good to run.

He is Risen!!!

Happy Easter
from our family to yours!
E smiles big!

L looks beautiful!

My handsome boy!
My big kids!

Coloring Eggs

An Easter tradition...
The kids were so excited to color eggs...
They have their white crayons and are ready to decorate their eggs.
D concentrates.
L models.
E is impressed with her creation.
The coloring was much more successful than the eating of the hard boiled eggs.

Egg Hunt

Due to the wet weather, we did our egg hunt inside. Each egg had the child's initial letter so they couldn't just go crazy gathering eggs. It worked well and extended the hunt a bit longer.
Ready to go...
D makes sure he finds the right egg.
L found one hiding.
Then we had to count to make sure we had found all the eggs.
L was missing one so the search continued...
D had all 16!

Bedtime stories

We have a family tradition of reading stories before bed.
Since we all read together, we've never captured it on film. However, when mom and dad were last here, dad grabbed our camara and took some pictures. I'm so glad he did because reading is something our family enjoys very much.
Everyone gets into the stories!

New Family Hang Out

Ever since E started potty training (again), we have a new family hangout!
I thought that things got easier with practice. However, when it comes to potty training, this is NOT the case. E has been my hardest one yet!! Thankfully she is often content to sit on the potty IF she has a good book!
Being the third child, the other two often feel the need to join her in the bathroom. You could call them her biggest fans. However, due to the length of some of the bathroom visits, the big kids also require some form of entertainment.
And other times, they just entertain themselves!
