Annual Pumpkin Patch Trip

We took our annual trip out to the Pumpkin Patch. I'm not sure how many more years the kids will be interested but we have decided to enjoy all the trips that we can until they outgrow our tradition!
Family pictures...thankfully the kiddos cooperated although they would have rather skipped the whole affair.
Lunch time!
Girls chose the little table and D joined us at the adult table.
So many cut-out photo props!

My baby goes to preschool

This girl was born ready!! She is ready for preschool, for life and to take on the world!
She requested pig-tails...it's her favorite hair style.
Her sister suggested putting her hands on her hips for the picture.
We had to show off the BIG backpack.
Here she is at school.
E found her name on the wall and deposited her backpack.
Then it was off to class with Mrs. Ashley. I will admit that I saw one look of panic before Mrs. Ashley took her in and got her settled. You can see that she is already hard at work. I can't believe my baby is in preschool!

"No Labor" Day

This Labor Day weekend was no work and all play. Grandpa's boat was working for the first time this summer so we went out in the boat every day!!
We had so much fun with Grandpa!

Papi had special time with his girls.

We even tried out a tube.
And jumping off the boat and just floating in the lake.
The lake water is finally down low enough for the sand bar to show so we dug in the sand, made mud pies and created water slides.

Splashing Grandpa.

Sonshine Clup

This year the big kids get to go to Sonshine Club. Once a week they will spend the day with other homeschoolers taking classes, learning and interacting. They had their first day and just loved it.
After the first day I asked what was worst, he said, "Nothing." When asked what was best, he responded, "Everything!"
L also had so much fun!! Her worst...getting sweaty. Her best...everything except getting sweaty.
Off to Sonshine club.
