We pass the lifeboat drill with flying colors and we're off...our 5 days cruise to Mexico was affected by the swine flu which closed Mexico ports forcing the cruise lines to find alternate ports. In order to do so, they had to extend the cruise to 7 days and they took us to Montego Bay and Grand Cayman!!
The back of the boat...we actually spent lots of time back here. Just amazing!
Mini golf
The first couple days were so incredibly windy!! We were with a couple who was taking their 5th cruise and said this one was by far the windiest!! Check out the hair!
The pool water was very cold!!
Basketball.
Our favorite place for breakfast and lunch was the back of the boat outside. We'd sit, eat and talk for as long we wanted. It was extremely relaxing. And then when we finished, somebody else would pick up!! How heavenly is that!
We made sure to always eat dinner in here! I got to just sit, order from a menu and somebody brought me my food just how I liked. We had two elegant nights as you can see below! We really enjoyed our table of 5 couples. It was a good mix of people and we laughed lots!
Docked in the Montego Bay port.
Once off the ship in Montego Bay we took a short bus ride up to the jungle, got outfitted with a harness and helmet and took a canopy tour through the jungle.
We rode 5 different zip lines!
I know you can't see me very well, but I am hanging there in the middle!
Then it was off to the Grand Caymans...we rode a Catamaran out to the sting ray sand bar,
