First Half of Summer

We've been having a great summer and I haven't taken any time to keep the blog up to date on the fun. The truth is that our summer has been fairly low key with lots of reading and playing. It's just as I like it. However, I will admit that we've thrown some picture-worthy activities into the mix. So, here's the first half of summer in pics...

Fourth of July in Austin...a tradition!!
Waiting for the 2nd parade...we always do two!

Below was the first parade and, of course, Grandma and Grandpa were there for the fun and to help us collect all the candy!

The parade brought not only bags full of candy but crazy sunglasses and fun lays as well!

The Fourth wouldn't be complete without grandma and grandpa!

We also had pool time...

and boat time.

The lake is super low due to no rain, but we still had tons of fun!

E is our crazy jet ski driver.

The kids even "rode" the jetski when it was dry-docked.

L "drove", E kept sight of their knee boarder and D "rode" with style.

Before Austin, the girls went to dance camp and D did a sports camp.

E does tap (above) and ballet (below). L chose not to perform, but she did participate in camp.

D had tons of fun at sports camp. He was doing a little warm-up before heading off for the first day.

Before dance camp, sports camp and a week of VBS, we went to the beach.
